This Thursday evening we hosted our Society’s participation in the Great Legal Quiz at a local function Townfields Sports Club in Doncaster in aid of The Access to Justice Foundation - we strive each year to contribute our efforts to putting on events like this to raise money for this great cause.

We believe it reflects the values of our members and what our Society is about - bringing people together and sharing experience to help those in need of legal support and access to justice!

Many congratulations to Paul Singh and his winning team!

A big thank you to all who attended, donated prizes, and participated in the charity raffle. It was wonderful to see so many firms represented on the night:

We were delighted to see our newly elected President Richard Lorenzo host and attend the Presidents’ Dinner at @crown_hotel_bawtry in Bawtry on Friday.

It was a pleasure to bring together so many of our past leaders—individuals who have helped shape the Doncaster & District Law Society into what it is today.

Both our President, and Vice President thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, hear stories about the profession’s history, and reflect on how much our work has evolved—especially with the rapid advances in technology that continue to influence and improve the way we practise law.

Our sincere thanks go to Emma Beazley for organising such a wonderful event, and to The Crown for their excellent service throughout. We also extend our gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to making the occasion so enjoyable.

Here’s to learning from the past, strengthening the path for the future, and—sharing what some of us are calling their first Christmas dinner of the season!
